Postpartum isn’t just hers to experience. It’s yours too.

When people talk about “postpartum,” they usually mean what moms go through after birth. Recovery, hormones, feeding, sleepless nights, depression—it’s a tidal wave.

But postpartum isn’t just hers to experience. It’s yours too. It’s where your support, patience, and presence can make the biggest difference not just for her recovery, but for how your family starts together.

This is the first season where your role shifts from “partner” to “partner and parent,” and you need support, too! We’re here to set you up for success during this transformative time.

POSTPARTUM SEASON IS

PREPARE TO BE UNPREPARED

Postpartum Challenges

Helping isn’t always helping.

There’s a difference between “helping” and showing up. Helping sounds like it’s her job and you’re pitching in. Showing up means taking ownership: anticipating needs and making sacrifices that lighten the load.

It might mean you eat cold dinners, miss a workout, or wake up at 3am. It’s not glamorous. But when you consistently show up, she feels supported and you feel proud of the role you’re playing.

She’s never needed you more.

The first months after birth can be the toughest––and the most important. Your partner needs your support now more than ever. She’s healing. You’re both learning. Guess who sets that tone? You do.

Support Season turns uncertainty into a playbook and provide you the skills, tools, and confidence to show up for your partner in her recovery and build a strong foundation for your growing family.

It’s uncharted territory.

Each baby and every partner is different. You’re not going to get everything right, and that’s okay.

What matters is how you two navigate the unknown together. Communicate like crazy. Ask her what she needs. Share what you’re struggling with. Keep talking, even when you’re tired or frustrated. That’s how you figure out the map as you go.

Redefining intimacy.

This period can pull you apart. Sleep deprivation, mismatched needs, and constant demands leave little room for connection.

Closeness doesn’t have to mean grand gestures. It’s the small stuff: rubbing her back, making her coffee, holding her hand when she cries, stealing a 10-minute walk together with the stroller. These moments remind both of you that you’re not just co-parents trying to survive, you’re partners building something together.

THE GAMEPLAN:

STEP 1

Mindset Shift

STEP 2

Anticipate Needs

STEP 3

Connect & Adapt

Balance the sacrifices that come with pregnancy and parenthood without keeping score. Embrace your new role, break through assumptions and understand the difference between helping out and showing up.

See around corners and lower the temperature at home. Support feeding, run a reliable soothing sequence, and make house ops predictable with clear ownership. Know when and how to ask for help.

Turn closeness into a daily practice through check-ins and care. Build small dad-baby rituals, align return-to-work rhythms, and learn the language of validation.
